All of a sudden I'm feeling very glad that I decided to grab a 360 as well as a Wii this gen. There's just going to be so many "360 and PS3!" titles out there, and so many "Wii exclusive!" titles as well, I think the Wii60/PSWii dual console setup is going to end up being a hit after all. In the mean time, I'll be taking full advantage of grabbing PS3/360 games like this, Sonic, and RE5.

So far, I've found there's few 'groundbreaking concepts' out there. Mechanics, yes, because we have the technology, but concepts? Not really.

Someone is going to give me counterexamples.

Somehow... call me crazy, but looking at their past projects, I don't have high hopes for this one. Between the string of Activision titles they ported to N64, and the Pitfall revival and Shark's Tale games being the only titles (listed on their site at least) that they've actually developed... what groundbreaking concepts are they going to explore? Making non-suck games?

Perhaps it would just save some confusion if the "next gen" was called "sci-fi and espionage generation" from now on.

I'm really missing all the tropical paradise games that came out at the begining of last gen, between Sonic Adventure, Super Mario Sunshine, all the volleyball games, and the fighting games even had tropical touches! Less post apocolyptic, more paradise vacation.
