Ed Boon talks gaming careers, your mom

Somebody get David Perry a psychonaut, quick! The co-founder of Shiny Entertainment (Earthworm Jim) posted a Q&A with Mortal Kombat co-creator Ed Boon, and one-fourth of all questions center around maternal relations -- what Boon's mother wanted him to do, how Perry can handle his mother, etc. It is a great, if not off-beat, platform for Boon to give some universal advice on getting involved in the industry.

One particularly interesting note: Boon did not follow in the footsteps of his parents, both doctors, because he "was always squeamish about blood, needles and things like that. Ironic, no?" Indeed.
