wow, a big spike in final fantasy web comics. Three references (okay, well two and a half). VG Cats was kind of funny but I think it was the worst I've seen from them. Had to go with Concerned.

Concerned this week was especially delicious. I loved the reference to Nacho Libre (cuz that line was probably the best part of that horrible movie)

I liked the Dragon Tails one, because I'm a translator myself, so I know all the hard work the translators must do, most of the time...

The guy who invented Microsoft points is a douche, everyone knows that. I don't see why we have to pay for crappy updates on a shitty console game while pc gamers get massive updates for free. It's just not right, but I guess Microsoft has to get some income out of the 360.
By the way I love my 360, but I hate Microsoft. So their in lies my angered outbreaks in the post. Kiss my *** fanboys.

I thought that the Penny Arcade strip was one of their best. I love it.
VGcats has gone downhill lately... Not been Impressed.

Why is Penny-Arcade not winning this week? That was genuinely funny and had a point. VG cats was just random. Just the title "Jenova's Witnesses" was funnier than reading the actual comic. And why are people throwing their votes away!?

I've come to a pretty believable conclusion. The only reason VG Cats is winning is because they had Sepiroth in the strip.
Final Fantasy nerds, for shame.

Why the hell is a 10-year old joke in an unfunny VGCats comic winning?

Its not that we are throwing them away, we are just voting for the one that is the funniest. I mean it was the only time I smiled while reading the article. So my vote went to Joystiq :)

It's hard to read a Little Gamers strip without finding a gramatical error or two. I've always found that sort of carelessness to be annoying. It's a blow to the comic's legitimacy.
I remember making the same jokes (minus the Hojo bit) back when FFVII disc 3 was just making it's way into my PlayStation. I've got to say, you're a little late, Scotty, but I still love it.
As for Penny-Arcade, I really liked the lyrics. They're telling the truth. Why should we buy content for incomplete games.
T-Bag, I agree with you. MS Points are good for Live Arcade, but the rest of your $70 game shouldn't be ransomed to you. I think I should help clarify one thing, though. Patches and bug fixes are free on the 360. That's not what GRAW Chapter 2 is.
And Eric, you can buy as many Microsoft points as you like...

Any reason why Dueling Analogs didn't make it this week? Was it the woman's bare ass?
Because damn, it really captured the Duck Hunt dog fury pretty well. It was at least better than Extra Life.

I really loved the Penny Arcade this week. It's possibly the first web comic I've ever sung along to.

The Penny Arcade comic is much better if it is sung aloud to the tune of the Gilligan's Island theme song.

@Smith (#9):
THANK YOU for linking us to that. That is the best video related comic I have seen in a good while, eventhough it's sick and twisted and I'll never be able to look at Banjo-Kazooie that same again..

I voted Concerned. Dragon Tails and PA were good this week, also.
And the Banjo-Kazooie one... omfg, I didn't laugh but it gave me a sadistic smile on my face.
Little Gamers and VG Cats were bad this week. They're up in the top 3 on reputation alone!
BTW, Dueling Analogs should have been in this week.

Ah, Penny-Arcade all the way, although I like the VG Cats one hell, I thought most of them were good, and Extralife wasn't bad... as long as Ctrlaltdel wasn't in the list.

Two things. The guys who do Little Gamers are swedish so english is a second language and yes, they will have grammatical errors. Two, the VGcats joke is an Advent Children joke..yes yes it's FF VII but not years old as some implied. Anyway had to point those things out... And yes I voted for LG.. I thought it was funny.
