Alan Wake details remain scarce, despite new images
Microsoft has released a series of new Alan Wake screenshots, but did not accompany the images with new game details. Since scooping up exclusivity rights several months ago in a deal with Remedy, Microsoft has remained decidedly tight-lipped about this promising psychological thriller.A short teaser was aired at E3 and new images have continued to trickle out in small batches, but we still know next to nothing about Alan Wake's gameplay -- and for that matter, when we can expect its arrival.

That really sucks. I've been waiting for more news about this title since last E3 and still no word? This was going to be the one title that would make me get an X360 (that and Prey & Gears of War). I hope production hasn't stalled...

Is it just me or does this look a lot like a map from Half Life 2?

Is Alan Wake the new Duke Nuken Forever, or what?

To #1: A bit, but that's not necessarily a bad thing.
To #2: Not until it reaches 10 years since its announcement with no gameplay footage or info to prove they've been working on it at all. :)

*sigh* I've been waiting for this since beating Max Payne 2 for the 8th time.
That was a great game, with good graphics, gameplay, and story, and I'm hoping Alan Wake lives up to that.
Unfortunately, it seems not only that it's taking forever to make, but they never release any information (unlike Bungie, who post every week, which is awesome)

Yea, it does look a lot like Half-Life 2. It's got those ubiquitous telephone wires [which cleverly portrays human habitation without anybody actually being present]It's got a "wait till you see what's coming around the corner for your ass" look about it. Bring on the Striders! lol

Remedy makes great games so I have alot of faith in the gameplay.
It just really sucks that this is an exclusive title.

I don't see why people are bitching about this game taking so long to make. Remedy isn't exactly known for flooding the market with information and they sure as hell aren't known for giving out a release date before a game has gone gold.
I bet they wouldn't have released any screenshots if Microsoft hadn't pressured them to do so.
