When the Japanese were recently polled about their trials and tribulations in acquiring the most awesome and best handheld in the world, the results were surprising. Even with the ramped up production of DS Lites to meet demand, it looks like said demand is not being met enough. Once the DS Lite went on sale over there, it seems since that fateful day, only 44% of those desiring one were even able to acquire it. As such, only 39% were still hunting down the elusive handheld and 16% have said they've basically given up their pursuit. [Via Gamespot]
