Seconded; msdarnell, no worries, I'm just giving the whole process a hard time and being snarky (it's our trade). Truthfully, I'm not handling the application process and don't know how well it's going, but I'd guess placing an open call online would garner some pretty questionable responders. That's not to say all of that (especially not you, who took the time to ask and inquire via a comment without resorting to flaming -- we really like that, trust us).
The process is going to take a long time and it won't be like one of our week-long contests. Sorry if the quick jab hit anyone the wrong way. My mantra about the whole thing is: if I can do it, then hell, anyone can do it.
