'Postal' creator bugged by Boll's boxing stint

So why not film Desi vs. Boll and throw that in the movie? :P

So this Postal movie is just going to be 2 hours of pissing on decapitated hobos, and some random fight? Heh, now THATS a movie worth seeing!

My favorite is reading about Desi's reaction. It's like he's watching a traffic accident in slow motion. Now, if only he was in a position to do something about it.

If you want a good time, rent Uwe's "Alone in the Dark" and watch it with the commentary turned on. The man is SO-ANGRY that people don't like his movies. He genuinely seems to think that his work is good, and that any negative response is just ranting from hardcore fans of the games his movies are "based" on.

If anything the folks at Running With Scissors should pray that the most embarassing thing to come from the movie is the boxing match. After the movie comes out they probably look fondly on the (somewhat) positive responses people have given this idea.

One of the editors of PC Gamer has also taken Boll up on him offer. Listen to the last PC Gamer Podcast, they spent about 15 minuets talking about it.

I'm just hoping there won't be a "you must throw the fight and allow Uwe to win" clause in the contract.

Oh and remember when Uwe also lied about being approached for the MGS movie? His claims of "all is good" with Desi could be the same type of BS. Hope not though. I want to see him lose badly.

If he changes the rules to UFC-style MMA, then I'll gladly go up there and challenge him. I would like to go all Matt Hughes on him.

Well, maybe Uwe will come to his senses and throw the fight. Not out of fear of getting beat up, but if he gets punched out on film, and that is put into the movie, think of all the people who will pay to see the movie, just to see Uwe getting knocked out.

I think that 'Postal' could be Ewe's vehicle. Seriously guys this is the movie that I think lends itself most to Ewes style. Ewe has an uncanny ability for great gory death scenes. As long as he doesn't try to get too preachy with Postal I think it could be his first critically sucessful movie.

Maybe he will make the movie without any violence just like EWS said you could complete the game. That would suck.

Am I the only one who misread that as Vin Diesel at first. I was hoping I'd get to see Vin box Uwe Boll for the good of the nation.

People need to stop giving Uwe Boll video game movies. He's so sure his crappy movies are good and the fans are just too stupid to get them. Even if he was capable of making a video game movie that would please the fans I doubt he would because making people hate his movies has become a twisted pride for him. If people like his movies that means they must actually not be good. It's his own unique form of artistic integrity that only allows him to make awful movies.

As to his boxing challenge it's actually a really pathetic and cowardly thing to do. The guy is fit, is trained in boxing, and doesn't allow people who haven't criticized him yet (as of the date he made the challenge) to challenge him. He knows he can beat up any critic and geek that have been making fun of him and he's itching to do it. More importantly: IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE QUALITY OF HIS MOVIES! Maybe the challenge should have been: who can make a better version of "Dungion Seige: The Movie" With a $100,000 budget. The rules could be that the challenger can not have gone to any sort of film class and doesn't have any sort of proffesional expirence and Uwe would get his ass kicked. Seriously, he would, I don't think anyone doubts that. Hell, I'm ready to take that challenge and I've only played like 30 minutes of DS2.

The best part about his commentary on "Alone in the Dark" is how he actually takes the time to explain how his movies are essentially just a tax dodge. Seriously.

What idiots at Running With Scissors thought that anything remotely good would come from Boll?? They deserve the rubbish that Boll will spit out.
