Does anyone have (or have tried) True Swing Golf? I've been on the fence with that one for months -- I have been perfectly content to play Mario Golf Advance Tour for a couple years now, but have been jonesing for a slightly more "grown-up" version of golf to play on my DS.

I tried True Swing Golf at the DS Download Station and it was fun. After demo was over I put my DS to sleep so that I can play the game at home. I am going to pick it up when I get paid. It is simple, fun, and using the touch screen adds a different feel to a golf game, as you can control the swing, the intensity of it, and the direction of it. Fun game.

My top whatever. All DS for me:

1. Advance Wars DS (can't play a game for over 50 hours and not put it at the top of the list)
2. New Super Mario Brothers
3. Brain Age (especially for the Sudoku)
4. Big Brain Academy (great for friends to play)
5. Metroid Prime Hunters
6. Tetris DS (great wi-fi multi)
7. Magnetica (good time killer - fun local multi)

I have True Swing Golf and I love it. It plays great, has nice vibrant graphics, has pleasing music, and has lots of courses. It tracks your money winnings which you can spend on new equipment, but beyond that it has nothing like the career modes in other golf games (which doesn't bother me one bit).

I believe the reason Metroid Prime Hunters or Advance Wars DS did not make it to the top of the list (or on the list for that matter) because they were released in 2005. This is a list of the top games of 2006

I had TSGolf, it was a good golf game, but I didn't have the patience to play it properly. If I were more patient, I probably would've enjoyed it quite a bit. Otherwise, it plays well..

Top 10 DS (Not specifically Nintendo).
1. New Super Mario Bros
2. Mario 64
3. Animal Crossing
4. Sonic Rush
5. WarioWare
6. Meteos
7. Mario Kart
8. Bomberman
9. Tony Hawk
10. Brain Training

And 11. My mum says I have to put ZooKeeper in.. My DS-Phat is at least getting a fair amount of usage ;)

In honesty, that was really hard to list in any sort of order...

1. New Super Mario Bros
2. Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney
3. Advance Wars: Dual Strike
4. FIFA 2006
5. Tetris DS

These are the best 5 DS games I own, all are essentials.

lol @ Rufus, he's one crazy guy. You know why he put Big Brain Academy first? Because he's so ridiculously proud of his 1900+ score, he likes to brag about it a lot. I have to admit, it's pretty impressive, and it definitly earned him some bragging rights...

I'm thinking the reason why its #1 is because Big Brain was included in a lot more DS bundles than NSMB.

My own list would have a higher place for Odama, it's greatly underrated. I think it'll be one of those games that, ten years after its release, people will discover it lying around flea markets, write exclamatory blog posts about it, and it'll achieve a bit of a cult following.
