A word about Play-Asia's $3.10 airmail to the States: it takes at least a week, probably longer. And shipping by real couriers (UPS, FedEx, EMS SpeedPost [handled by USPS in the states]) costs almost $20. :[

Does anyone know if Play-Asia ships faster to Hawaii? We are kinda next door - if you consider the Pacific to be a huge back yard.
Thanks.

Ooo... sounds like Japan is going to have some nice Prey numbers... maybe more people will buy it than those who own a 360 there... =)

So with all the yanks buying it from Play_asia are we going to make PRey the number one selling game in Japan for the week? They are going to sell more total copies pf Prey in Japan then they have sold 360's

I suggest that everyone waits longer. I've beaten the game in less than half a day. I say definitely rent this game, because it's worth playing. But there is little point of owning it since it lacks replay value.

No custom charge on play-asia stuff. Usually it's factored into the price you pay.

Just a correction. Play-Asia is in Hong Kong, not Japan. The game that is 39.90 is the Hong Kong version (official, not a pirate anyway).

@ #10

Two hours each day for half a day is ten hours, which just so happens to be half a day. The only difference is that you split up your gaming and took your time. Even taking my time I beat the game in less than eight hours, which is definitely NOT worth $40, much less the US retail price of $60 on the 360.

Just because play asia and LIKsang says they have it does not mean they do. Ive been waiting for 2 and 1/2 weeks for MotoGp for the measley sum of $35.00 shipping included from LIK-sang. While it saved me close to 1/2 its taking forever. Now I did get Hitman fairly qucik from Play Asia last time I ordered. There versions play and are the same as the US versions.

This next-gen pricing really suck. The PC version cost $20 less for the exact same game (actually the PC version is better if your have a good PC).

To be honest Gamefly is working out just as good as these guys. Get the game shipped to you the day it comes out and buy it for $45.00 a week later as a preplayed when you are the only person that has bought it. And you get to test drive it before you buy it. Some games are great for a few hours and then die out quickly.....

Just a precision about custom charges. It has nothing to do with the shipper. It's charged by your country, when your package arrives. In Canada, it's free for things with a retail value lower than 20$ (or 60$ if it's a gift), but otherwise, it's about 15% + applicable sale taxes.

A seller can never tell if there will be custom charges or not (but he can declare a false retail price). I ordered my DS Lite from Play Asia and I had to pay a lot of taxes...
