I played this game, and it is not that great, and the price makes it worse.

I played about three levels this morning before leaving for work. Cute, and the control scheme works fairly well. I'm going to assume plenty of levels, otherwise it's apt to get dull quickly. Also, didn't have time to check the multiplayer.

Still, it was interesting enough that I'll pop for it when I get home. Something has to keep me busy until Dead Rising comes out.

Honestly, other than geometry wars this seems like the best XBLA offering to date. It reminds me alot of The Lost Vikings and seems to provide a full game expereince as opposed to the score achieving objectives in most of the XBLA titles. It certainly is no Super Mario brothers, but honestly it is a good puzzle/platformer and seems worth the 800 MSP. Now if we could get Small Arms and Mad Tracks out, XBLA may start to become a legit gaming platform as opposed to a location for recycled ports. Not that all recycled ports are bad, I too am looking forward to Street Fighter, but I am more excited over worthwhile original offerings for XBLA. And it seems Cloning Clyde provides that. Now buy the freaking game so more developers will see this as a viable market, and we can get more original IP's in the XBLA setting.

Cloning Clyde is a lot of fun...and is indeed "zany". That's one of the many things I've enjoyed about Outpost and Clyde -- the zany sense of humor. I've only tried the single player but the addition of co-op and battle modes (online and off) should make this game well worth the 800 points.

So, go get yourself the demo and get to chickin' kickin'!

Oh, and not to split hairs but it's just "Outpost Kaloki X" (no ":" required) named as such due to the original PC version being called just "Outpost Kaloki."

I played it for about 5 minutes before leaving for work today. It plays like a good SNES game. The controls fit like your favorite pair of well worn sneakers. Love it. Can't wait to play more when I get home.

Kinda reminds me of the old SNES game "Clayfighters." The graphics I mean.

Anyone remember "Bad Mister Frosty?" My buddy named his cat that after a whole summer of clayfighters.

Its a great game. Already completed 12 levels and 4 Challanges. And I got to say the game is a blast. Especially trying to find all the Killer Keen Action figures, and trying to get the level & challange level's completed in par time.

Game is worth the 800 and can't wait for Small Arms.
