Anyone who's not excited has got to be a little touched in the head... It's astounding how non-greedy Valve is being; much respect to them!

Excited? Hell yeah! Team Fortress was one of my first hardcore online addictions. It was my first introduction to team play and capture the flag. And it killed many a semester of college for me.

Love the new look! It's like Pixar came in and kicked ass. The characters actually have character!

Of course I'll be getting this, but on my PC, not the 360. First person shooters belong on the PC, where they were born and raised.

Portal has me jumping for joy. It has always been a pet peeve for me when FPS games throw pointless little puzzles in games just to slow the pace. They are usually easy, boring, and poorly thought out.

Prey was a step in the right direction, but still a bit to linear.

Portal seems to be giving us something I have always hoped for. A FPS where the puzzles are the focus, they are well thought out, creative, and most importantly, from the video it seems like there is more than one way to solve each area. Kudos Valve!

Anyone feel the way I do, or do we always want to kill, kill, kill?

This is the sort of game that sells a lot of systems. With Half-Life 2, Gears of War, Call of Duty 3, Halo 3, Grand Theft Auto 4, Mass Effect, Bioshock, Lost Planet, Dead Rising, and SO MANY others, I AM SO HAPPY I BOUGHT THE XBOX 360!!!

Is every game going to have a portal in it now?

Yes, dyphatjive, every game is going to have a portal. Just think how easy Madden will be when i just shoot my portal gun at the endzone.

Why not ask more silly questions like "Does everygame have to have sound"?

I'm so glad this is coming to the 360. personaly i'd much prefer to play it on my pc (360 still aint got nothing on my gaming rig) but my freinds without pc's will get to see one of the greatest games ever made, the xbox version as good as it was wasnt a true reflection of the game it must have ran at 5fps. in the valve press release they say they're bringing out updated versions of half life 2 and episode 1, which hopefully means the upgrades to the source engine in episodes one and two will be intergrated into half life 2 which will be sweet and reason enough to play it through again.

team fortress 2 looks wicked, portal looks mind bending but damn cool.

Please Please Please include counter strike source thou, with proper server lists and user made content, if they fuck it up with matchmaking they'll fuck the whole game up.

Can you establish a new link between two portals while a previously created one already exists, thus allowing you to use them in conjunction? Or is that too much to ask?
