Thank you Chris for finally realizing the real-life hell Major Nelson has created with his blog. The comments he receives on some of his posts are downright outrageous, I wonder how he puts up with some of these unemployed/out-of-school-for-the-summer dick heads. Kind of reminds me of the "I use this on #2's mom" type comments on bensbargains.net. That's where I feel it's necessary to disable Anonymus commenting as I'm sure it would prevent the regurgitated "Where's my Saint's row demo", "A picture pack for 150 points, WTF? Who's gonna buy this crap?", and the nostalgic "F' this Horse Armor bullshit, gimme Gears of War already".

Whatever happened to releasing a demo BEFORE the retail game was released? This thing should have been out LAST YEAR.

So your saying you want your DoA4 Demo before the game came out, which was a launch title?

@GSI

Actually, I think its smarter for them to release demos several months after a game comes out. When a game first comes out, anyone that wants it will purchase it, demo or not. Several months down the line, when sales are stagnant, a demo can be just the thing to get customers off their butts and into the stores to purchase the game, which is hopefully now at a discount.

I can't find any contact info for joystiq.com or ps3fanboy.com so I will put this here. Come on guys, can we get an updated pic of the controller for PS3 on ps3fanboy.com? You would think that after all these months a ps3 fanboy would know it is no boomerang anymore. Maybe you just overlooked it. I send all my friends to these sites and they are great. Love em. Peace

What is "Xbox Like Marketplace" Mr. Grant? and why is it that Joystiq always has the latest Xbox 360 news and information than the defunct xbox360fanboy.com?

...ehh...that's true too. Although it would be nice if they released demos in the regions where the titles are coming out in stead of select regions. I want to try out Chromehounds before I contemplate buying it.

If it had come out before I bought the game, I would have saved $43.

It's a real turd.

Great point #9. I got my 360 back in March after being influenced by xbox306fanboy.com

Now the site is dying... just like the console?

The guys with the master plan to release this pile of horse shit way after the actual game was released deserve to be shot. With that said, I hate DOA4.

1UP: It's unconventional for a publisher to release a demo of a game that has already been out for six months. What prompted this? Is it to let the bigger installed base try a game they may have overlooked in favor of newer titles?
Tomonobu Itagaki: That's exactly right. TeamNINJA would like as many potential players as possible to get their hands on the game and try it out.
www.1up.com for my info.

why do u people hate DOA so much its a great game i dont know why people bash it,,, maybe cuz they suck at it and if u think its a button mash game get on xbox live play me or someone good and ull get *** kicked

@17

Just wanted to point out that by saying play me or someone good, you automatically imply that you are not good at the game.

Why must people butcher the English language?

I prefer Dead or Alive over other fighting games because it isn't all "serious business."

Yeah, I think its a little late to relase the demo on the marketplace. It would have had bee nice to release the demo at the begining of december when the game was very close to being finished. Also Master X 24 I think one of the reasons people don't like it is because its hard as heck on normal. I mean seriously some of the computer characters pull off insane move combos and blocks/counters. Also the last boss of the game teleports like heck and can take around a 3rd or more of your health away with a certian attack.

Master X, your English skillz are so n00btastic that you wouldn't be able to pass the U.S. Citizenship exam. Keep this up and you'll be in the next wave of cannon-fodder en route to Iraq.

Which would be a shame, because clearly you're an intelligent, thoughtful type of person who loves kittens and reading poetry while sitting in fields of colorful flowers.
