I'll definitely get Elite Beat Agents when it comes out, as well as Advanced Wars: Dual Strike. Electroplankton seems pretty cool, but it's hardly made any lists. What's wrong with it?

4.Animal Crossing: Wild World ( MY addiction started on gamecube, and crossed over to my DS, and now my lite)
5.Brain Age: Train Your Brain in Minutes a Day! ( An experiment that made my life better)

Let's see:
5: Nintendogs- the game that sold me the DS!
4: Phoenix Wright- charming humour and great storylines.
3: Super Mario 64 DS- I borrowed it from a friend- good luck getting it back chum!
2: Mario Kart DS- Great multiplayer, if only I had more people to play with...
1: the winner is....Animal Crossing!- so awesome, addictive, cute and funny. I play it every day :P

Oh and an honourable mention to Daigasso: Band Brothers. I love it! Excellent multiplayer, plus music composer!

Live looping on the 4 track level gets 5th ;)

1. NSBM - 170+ coins, 99 lives and still playing takes the top spot :)

2. AC - 150+ hours and a perfect town takes #2

3. M64DS - 90% and can't do any better gets 3rd

4. Big Brain - Not being able to beat the girlfriend = 4th

5. Electroplankton - Live looping on the 4 track level gets 5th ;)

Sorry I'm so late to the game, but here we go:

1. Animal Crossing: Wild World - No other DS game I have makes me want to come back to it every single damn day. It was my best friend on a few plane rides and in between cities in Europe while waiting for the train ride to end. Truly spectacular and SO well localized. The writing is a gem on this title.

2. New Super Mario Brothers - Sublime. That's all I have to say about it. Just absolutely sublime. And not really for the big things like being an amazing platformer, just for the small subtle touches and attention to detail and really genuinely delightful gameplay. I don't get to use "delightful" a lot these days.

3. Trauma Center: Under The Knife - I just got this game yesterday and it's already one of my favorites. Absolutely stunningly awesome. Even being as hard as it is doesn't really matter because it's such an involving experience.

4. WarioWare: Touched! - Getting this title convinced me to try Twisted and the original for GBA (I don't own a Gamecube so nothing there yet), and neither of those are as good as this version. It's manic and awesome and it's like it tries to be the anti-game - everything opposite what you expect from a game, and yet in doing so it becomes the perfect game. Save the Trees!

5. MarioKart DS - Balloon Battle. Wifi racing. Just a fantastic game and a great way to intro all the features of the DS system (except maybe the touchscreen stylus).

I haven't played Phoenix Wright (on preorder), but I also like Brain Age, Big Brain Academy, and Metroid Prime: Hunters (I suck at FPS so I don't own it, but I respect the game). The biggest disappointment has been Trace: Memory. At first a really clever adventure puzzle with some absolutely brilliant puzzles and things to solve, but in the end it was just way too short and the writing was godawful.

I also like the Super Mario 64 port for the DS. Really nice and a great way to play an old game I had never played before. I wish there was an OoT port for DS somehow. Can't wait for Phantom Hourglass.
