Dennis Quaid taking lead in Timeshift
Despite some delays and publisher changes, it appears Timeshift is finally on track for a September release on the Xbox 360 and PC. Added to that potential thrill will be the man behind such timeless celluloid classics as The Rookie and In Good Company, Dennis Quaid.Mr. Quaid will be lending his voice talents to the lead character Colonel Michael Swift. Other celeb voices you'll hear include: Nick Chinlund (Con Air and The Chronicles of Riddick films) who will voice General Mitchell and Michael Ironside (The Perfect Storm and Starship Troopers) who will play the scientist Doctor Krone.
Our latest hands-on with Timeshift back in June showed the game to have improved somewhat from the E3 demo, so here's hoping a good game actually comes out of this time-bending concept.

It better improve *a lot* because that demo I played on the OXM disc did just about everything wrong:
Horrible aiming, check.
Making the "Timeshifting" boring, check.
Pointless "Puzzles", check.
Average visuals, check.
Then again, maybe I'm just "shooter'd out". Thank god for Cloning Clyde.

All hail Inner Space - Quaids finest hour! :-)

Dennis Quaid is probably the 3rd worst actor ever.

Michael Ironside?!
"See you at the party, Richter!"

After playing Narbacular Drop (the game Portal is based on), I'm more interested in space-bending than time-bending.

I'm surprised you didn't mention Michael Ironside's ongoing performance as Sam Fisher.

What, was his brother Randy all tied up working on another National Lampoon's flick?

I was a tester at Atari while this game was in development.
HORRIBLE GAME, HORRIBLE STORY, HORRIBLE EVERYTHING!
Ryan Barr @ Aug 16th 2006 1:27PM
Ryoga was disgruntled because they didn't send his sorry butt to Russia like they did 4 other guys. He was a lousy tester and comments like this will ensure that he has problems getting other jobs. I was at Atari at the time as well and that was the one game that they did not want to get rid off. This guy is a liar - TimeShift looks awesome.

Ryoga got fired from Atari for stealing.

Wow, that’s all really interesting; too bad I never posted that first comment. I really have no opinion about Time Shift one way or the other. It’s a nice game, interesting features. I’m just not a FPS fan. Either way, I have nothing bad to say about the game, and could only wish it success.
Mr. Ryan Barr has a personal fascination with us for reasons unknown. He's been harassing me for the past few months stalking my online behavior for his own sick and twisted fantasies. Sending me e-mails, making phony myspace accounts, and leaving comments in my blog excessively. I just wish he would grow up and find another way to get his jollies off.
End of story.
