Ahem lets see playing another character and seeing their view of the events is a port? Voice acting and more content also makes this a port?

New play mechanics also make it a port?

What crack are you smoking Sony fanboys?

You could have always have bought Tramua Center DS from the Atlus website. It wasn't that hard to find if you weren't a retard and knew where to look. You do realize that companies do have online stores these days that often stock hard to find products?

Metal Slug Anthology hasn't been out on any system yet. It was announced last year for f-s sake.

The tramua center wii game has you playing as a different character with different scenarios. So it is an expansion that due to this character is practially a sequel. It's both a sequel and a remake if you bother to think about it. Atlus said there would be 50% new material. That is often more then a sequel gives especially if you are used to sequels of PS1 and PS2 games.

Well, the good news is that I won't be able to scratch my TV screen like I did on my DS (while using an official stylus btw) during some of the more heated operations.

Damn you Triti!

remake yes, port no.

port - transfer of software from one system or machine to another
remake - make something again or differently

Trauma Center - Second Opinion = remake

As a remake is it worth getting? I say, yes. Why? Because the only aspects of the game that remain the same from the DS version is probably the story, characters, and surgery aspect. HOWEVER. There are many differences that would make the game worth getting, even for those that own the DS version. The characters obviously look different even though they're the same persons, some new characters, added features to the surgery system that Under the Knife did not offer, TC:SO is voiced, extra missions, and there is a difficulty setting (for those who are still stuck at X1 on DS like me). So I'll be getting this game when it comes out.

PEACE

I watched Green Wing, UK channel 4 hospital comedy, and they advertised TC between ad breaks. wasn't going to buy it until all this hype started about it. I love this game now, and am worse than dissapointed that its a remake (with added bonuses etc.). Really wanted a fully blown sequel, and around the same time I found that this wasn't, I also dicovered that Green Wing was being cancelled too! At the moment, I would buy anything Trauma Center related. Still not 100% sure that this is a port, and yeah, the new derek looks so much like I girl that I think I laughed uncontollably for about 5 mins when I first saw it. Yeah, I know. Pathetic. (:
