IGN has just posted some new screens for Sega's upcoming Sonic Rivals. While the screens don't show anything in the way of actual gameplay, they do show four new enemies Sonic and friends will be up against.
The enemies are the traditional robotic-animalistic type you've seen in games past.
The game, which should launch in November, is not a traditional Sonic platformer, but a racing game that pits Sonic against Knuckles and the rest of the Sonic crew battling it out in what feels like a classic 2D game with 3D backgrounds and environments. It will be interesting to see how the different character's abilities translate into racing and what Sega does to level them out, because Mr. Miles Prowler flies like my grandfather drives - Slooooooowwwww!
