It'd be nice if MS stopped teasing us with this and just got the games on to the Marketplace.

Best case scenario is that the game I want to play hits 'next week'. Worst case, the game I want is the 35th!

Once the summer drought of games ends and we start the run up to Xmas I doubt quite so many Arcade titles will sell - it's in Microsofts money making interests to get as many titles on to Arcade during the quiet release period... who's really going to play Mini Golf when they have Gears of War?!

This is about as exciting as the lump of poop growing in my colon. Ofcourse, the poop is free though.

Well, chances are good that I'll continue buying every game that shows up on XBLA.

There are a number of VERY GOOD looking games coming up though. In particular I'm looking forward to Alien Hominid, Assault Heroes, Castle Crashers, Heavy Weapon, Lumines Live, Mutant Storm Empire, Pinball FX, Small Arms, Sonic the Hedgehog: High Speed, Contra/Super Contra, and the next NinjaBee game (I'm pretty sure that it's goinig to be "Killer Ken.")

Did everyone sign up for the xbla party thing microsoft was doing? You sent them an email to um xlmail@microsoft.com then told them you want an arcade party, and they said you the code for two 500 point cards and you get a free pizza, i did and i got it, took about a week. I just made some silver accounts, im gonna see how many codes i can get

Worms is one of the rumoured titles. Last I heard, they hadn't yet started contract negotiations.

Basically, the story is that MS approached the developer before launch and got a disinterested reaction. Around E3, the developer became interested because XBLA started getting some momentum based on the sales figures.

At that point, they hadn't entered contract discussions, and I haven't seen anything since, so I'm still calling it a rumoured title.

The other big rumoured titles are Darwinia (which was in contract discussions when I last heard about it), and Hudson's Saturn Bomberman (which they indicated interest in bringing over, but no discussions had been held. My opinion is that SB is probably too big, but I haven't pulled out my CD to check yet. Bomberman '94 would be a perfectly adequate replacement, IMHO).

To add yet another rumoured title, I'm just now listening to Friday's 1Up Yours podcast, and the SEGA rep that they are interviewing just gave a pretty strong hint that Goldenaxe would be released in some fashion in the period before the release of Shin Goldenaxe (to differentiate between that and the earlier versions).

As far as oldies go, I'm picking up Ms. Pacman and Time Pilot.

I'm intrigued by Alien Hominid and Castle Crashers. I hope they are good enough to buy.

There is one game that I really, really want. It is called Guerilla War. It came out for the NES a long time ago. The game was awesome because you could be co-op and drive tanks and all that good stuff. If Microsoft would get the license for that game and deliver it on Xbox Live I would pick that up in a heart beat.

Guerrilla War (aka Guevara) was an SNK arcade game before that. It's certainly within the realm of possibility. Letting SNK know that you want it would be a good start.
