Get your Tra5hTa1k in live, human form

On July 29, the folks behind the gaming-based talk show Tra5hTa1k with ILL Will decided to take their act live, in front of a studio audience at New York City's Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre.
Well, that performance has finally been edited and brought online. Broken up into three parts, the whole deal is around 20 minutes or so. The guys have a good sense of humor about the gaming culture, so it's definitely worth a look.

yikes, the live performance certainly does showcase the incredibly bad comedic timing

I loved Upright Citizen's Brigade on Comedy Central.

It's a good thing the sidekick is a missle, because they bombed!

I was actually there - and this show rocked.

Hey CheapyD, be nice man, I really love your podcast and I've been listening since the first episode, but i also know these guys and they're pretty nice, I even hung out with all of them after the show. They just love videogames as much as you man, and they're trying to be just as professional. Also Jonathan Coulton Rocks! http://www.jonathancoulton.com/

I am nice! I watched the video and it didn't seem like the audience wasn't laughing.
I realize it's a tough gig, but I really wanted to use that missile joke (and spell missile wrong).

I meant, "it didn't seem like the audience was laughing."
What a schmuck! Someone ban me from commenting before I further embarrass myself.
Best of luck to the Tra5hTa1k crew.

I think the problem was the setting. It didn't seem like there were alot of gamers in the audience. When he asked if there were any 360 owners in the audience the response was dead silence. They then proceed to reel off a bunch of 360 related jokes; and surprise, surprise, no laughter. Now you don't have to own a 360 to be a gamer, but "hardcore gamers" usually are well informed about all aspects of gaming. I don't own a Wii, but I can appreciate a good Wii joke. Tra5hTa1k are obviously gamers, it seemed to me that the audience wasn't.
