Whoa, wait a sec. Isn't the typical price for a 360 game $60? What's the big fuss here? OMG! a retail game actually costs $60!!!

HAHAHA, I called this back when the "BIG announcement" comments first came out.

And as to the comment that Zelda was the most anticipated game of 2006....I think that was for 2004.

Anyway, different sites and magazines have all their own "titles" for games. You can lable yourself "Game of the Year" if one magazine has given you that award. Heck, a game company can create a magazine and give that title to their own game if they wanted too.

Yeah, I don't get it either. They all cost the same to rent, anyway, and that's all GoW will be - a good rental.

@ Christopher Grant -

Umm - where have you been? Almost all games for the 360 have launched at $59.99, with collectors editions being $10 more. Prices drop after a while - Kameo is down to $29.99, PDZ and several others are down to $39.99.

I've even seen Oblivion still at $59, while the PC version is down to $39 now.

I thought that was Zelda? Oh wait, no, that was the most anticipated game of 2005.

This is still much more interesting than Far Cry for the Wii.
