Psychonauts, the diorama

Ever wanted to see Raz from Psychonauts take on Link, the Family Guy chicken, and Mothra? Ross Mortensen (a.k.a. "DangeROSS") has sculpted our favorite telekinetic protagonist and put him in various situations with various other action figures in diorama stylings, including running through a cityscape as tall as the highest towers.

Memories of Lungfishopolis, yay!

Wow. I can't beileve this made it on to Joystiq. I'm so stoked about this. I made these things in honor of some great games, without these wonderful games I would have had no inspiration. Psychonauts, Beyond Good and Evil, and Metal Arms: Glitch in the System are some great games that deserve more attention they got.

I was reluctant to send the pictures over to Double Fine because I really didn't think anyone would care about them. But the people over there are so nice. They actually take the time out of their busy schedule to respond to fans. It's really amazing. Ya gotta love 'em.

What's also cool is the guy who put this up here is also named Ross. I thought that was neat. You should call yourself TyrannosauruROSS.

Hmm.. taking your advice, dangeROSS, I will add Psychonauts and Metal Arms to my list of games to squeeze into this generation. Thanks.

And I believe "tyrannosauROSS" would flow a little bit better.. but that's probably what you meant.

I couldn't agree more. Psychonauts was such a great game... fun and unique. Metal Arms was also a fun title with pretty good reviews by several publications but lacking the sales it deserved. I never got a chance to play Beyond Good and Evil. Sadly I sold my Xbox to buy the 360, so if it makes it to the back-compat list, I'll pick it up and give it a go. Anyhow, good job on those models!
