Good movie, Zhang Ziyi is a hot cutie!

Too bad it would probably be very sparkly and just not feel authentic.

"Gameplay details are non-existent at this point, but those familiar with the film might remember that the conflict between the story's two factions was never resolved. Which side would you choose?"

To quote Towlie quoting Spider-Man...Nevermind.

I guess this story has the bare minimum of things necessary for an MMO (a world, two factions that don't like each other...FIGHT!) but I honestly don't see this taking off. Especially since the "stars" from House of Flying Daggers were a bunch of knives.

Personally, I'd much rather see someone put together a nice MMO based on the world from Ma Wing Shing's "Wind & Cloud".

We should make a MMO called "War of Fanboys (WoF)" in which there is three races:

- Nintendo Fanboys
- Microsoft Fanboys
- Sony Fanboys

There is another two races non elegibles at the moment:

- Sega Fanboys
- PC Fanboys

And the ubber bosses are:

- EA
- Patent System.

... So what do you think guys about my idea :D.

Only way that would work is if it's released for every console. Aside from the facts though, I'd hit that!

"House of Flying Daggers is one of 21 online games that were selected for the Made in China Online Game Project, which was established by China's General Administration of Press and Publication (GAPP) to promote domestic game development. GAPP is reportedly investing RMB 2 billion (app. US$250 million) in this initiative, which also involves setting up four national online gaming bases in Shanghai, Beijing, and the provinces of Guangdong and Sichuan."

Hmmm...If the Chinese government is helping fund it (that's how I read it), then I am not interested.

Play as Samanosuke? Count me in!

So, can you play as a blind character, and see nothing? What will the requirements be? Maybe it could be text based...

As someone who absolutely loved House of Flying Daggers (seriously, I don't see how Hero got more attention; it was far less entertaining), I honestly don't know how the hell this will work.

Also, how exactly does the fact that two of the actors from the movie this game is based upon mean that this game will be seen outside of China? It makes no sense.
