Eurogamer is reporting that Midway has gone ahead and delayed the action-packed third-person shooter John Woo's Stranglehold until early 2007. The game, due out on the 360, PlayStation 3, and PC apparently just wasn't coming along as nicely as the devs would have liked.
We actually saw Stranglehold last month, and could see this coming a mile away. When presented with a playable version, it was still the same level shown at E3 with no improvements whatsoever. While the delay is a bit of a bummer -- because the game is so cool -- it is good to see devs not want rush something that isn't ready just so they can hit the holiday mark.
