I will never buy another EA game.I will ask everyone I know never to buy another EA game.I will create a website and dedicate it to aternatives to EA games. They dont care about theyre customers. Why should they? After all most people who complain dont have the conviction to follow through.I on the other hand,Do.Why because its a stretch for me to afford these games in the 1st place. To have the most appealing aspect of a game(online play)neither maintained or after a year dropped makes it a waste of my money and its a slap in the face. There have been hundreds maybe thousands of calls made to EA tech support about theyre horrible servers yet nothing is done because dumb people continue to make theyre sales soar. Its time someone followed through.

NFSU2 wasn't 360. You're thinking NFS:MW

This is understandable.

I bought NFS:U2 a couple of months back in the discount bin: $5 if I remember correctly.

I tried to play some online with it, but it was such a pain. Often, there were no games active. So there I am sitting in the lobby for 10 minutes waiting for a game to start. Zzzzz... It just wasn't fun.

So I'm not surprised they would shut servers down. What they should do, if they had any concern for their customers, is provide us a way to run our own servers. Either publish the server source code, or publish the specs so that fans could write their own servers. And provide a patch to allow us to find a server.

I can understand them cutting expenses. But provide customers a way to continue without you!

Who cares, EA SPORTS stop caring about the quality of their games anyway. In my opinion they have developed an ego and are now always looking for a way to make a fast dollar. They have flooded the market with games that are well below the normal standard of excellence. Maybe if we don't buy their games anymore they might wake up and take it back to their roots.

You know, I might actually care about this if I played any of these games. But I don't. For a reason. Because they're EA. And yet everybody is suprised when EA shafts them. This is what you get for supporting mediocre franchises year after year after year after year after goddamn year. Up a creek without an online service. You know, everybody says they won't buy EA anymore, but obviously someone isn't doing their job.

It doesnt matter if they shut down the servers to the older games. Shuting down the 2005 version wont matter as everyone is playing later versions of the game.

So now we know why EA went to war with console companies to retain the right to host via their own servers. They did it to shut down games and make people upgrade to the latest ones if they want to keep playing friends.

1. What happens when the newer game sucks worse than the older one? (it is EA, after all)
2. We should start a class action lawsuit.
3. People should boycott EA games. Out of every Xbox 360 games, the only ones that drop and disconnect or fail to start at all are the EA games. It's a running joke with my 360 friends.

EA sucks and they should not be rewarded.
