As long as there is an emote for "Like, oh my GOD!"
But seriously, who DOESN'T want to RP a whiny spoiled bitch?

In other news, Capcom has announced a tie-in with the upcoming reality-show-turned-video-game Virtual Laguna Beach titled "Dead Rising: Laguna Beach." Teach the undead how to dress and act in a consequence-free world! Feed poor people to the undead and then laugh about it over your $23 martinis! Command your army of the undead with phrases such as "Like, OH. MY. GOD." and "Totally get them!"
At this time, Capcom has announced no intention to create a similar tie-in based on The Hills.

Goddamnit! Why?!?
qbix @ Aug 7th 2006 1:24PM
This is a horrible, Horrible idea.
Matt @ Aug 7th 2006 1:24PM
Diamond: You forget that the $23 martinis are being consumed under-age, before preparing for equally underage whore-sex.

I'm glad as hell my country doesn't have this. just the image and description alone makes this show sound naff.
I remember when Big Breakfast did a special about Unreal and they mapped out the house complete with Phil Gail mug shots as wallpapers. OT but still...

EUHK!
If Lauren Conrad wasn't any more insufferable, now she's gonna be digital.
This is why I don't watch MTV anymore. Too cool for the room douchebags.
Randy @ Aug 7th 2006 2:03PM
Oh my! This game is going to stink.. Who would want to play a whiny little girl, with her whiny little Emo friends?
I rather spend my time playing World of Warcraft instead.. I just pray to God that they don't make another reality based TV video game.
Loque @ Aug 7th 2006 2:05PM
If there is pvp, do we get to slap around the cast?
I'D PAY FOR THAT

These companies are so out of touch. They see the success of certain MMORPG's and have to try to get a piece of the pie. Unfortunately, they are targeting the wrong audiences with a crappy product.
This MMORPG phase is just a temporary fad that will evolve into something entirely new and refreshing. The company that gets on the ground floor of that next evolution will be the big winner, not the imitators.
Innovation is much more profitable than imitation.

This is got to be an all time record low for the game industry. I don't have anything nice to say about this.
But I am going to go home tonight, curl up in a fetal position, clutch a pillow and cry myself to sleep.
Bet @ Aug 7th 2006 3:35PM
But what about my date for prom...

"Dead Rising: Laguna Beach."
God thats funny Diamond.
Well, they could make millions if they make a game using anyone who has ever appeared on MTV, and give the player a machete, a television, and infinite grenades capable of triggering certain sequences of events. I've always wanted to blow up whoever appears on that show where they basically break into people's houses.

I read the whole "Piracy is killing PC Gaming" post and then I see this. Hurray for juxtapositioning.

I'd like to make a joke or snarky remark, but I just can't stop staring at that girl's legs. I thought they stopped making those kinda gams in the seventies.
To reiterate: Show sucks, girls has nice legs. Let's move on.
Bill @ Aug 8th 2006 1:00AM
#19..yeah..too bad what the fuck do they have to do with each other?
Stop covering for the fact you're a thief.
I think I should punch you and take your money, since you once said something stupid it gives me the right forever, by that logic.

is this "Kristen" the one in the picture? cause she looks sorta like someone dressed up a wine cask then slapped on some slightly-better-than-average legs and a woefully passe hairdo in order to pass her off to the public as someone we should pretend is hot. i almost afraid to peep her grill. who knows what sort of hideous experimentation one might find there.
John Remington @ Sep 19th 2006 2:32PM
This game will be awesome. Sims + Extreme Beach Volleyball, anyone? :)
John Remington @ Sep 19th 2006 2:33PM
Looks like X23's jealous. I'd hit it.
