What is the big deal with back compatibility. You don't buy a PS3 or 360 to play 5 year old games. Let it go.

And Sony fanboys, you need to stfu once in a while. You don't HAVE a next gen system. You have a PS2. Period. In about 3 months you will have a system. Don't get pissed at 360 owners just because their lives include an extra year of next gen gaming while you were stuck with your same shtuff.

Last comment. PS3 buyers better hope that bugger don't break down like the PS2 did. Another class action lawsuit for broken systems that cost 2-3x as much would be scarrry. My broken PS2's have forced me to wait years for a PS3. Hada 360 for quite some time though. It may not have a ton of great games, but it has got half a dozen really kickass ones that have covered my gaming needs nicely.

shadow of the colossus raised the bar for what it means to be a good videogame, as far as i'm concerned, much like final fantasy vii, mgs 2 or super mario 64 did for me. every game i play now just pales in comparison... i want the enemies to move organically, i want the music to pick up and make my heart pound, but it never does. even god of war, a supposedly great game, just seems like a prettier pa rappa the rapper next to SoC... so pick it up numbskulls, you won't return it after a rental I bet.
