Broken Saints trailer from Comic-Con

I've never heard of this game, well in about 20 minutes when the vid loads I might know what it's about.

Wow, I'm surprised that the Broken Saints video game actually came to fruition! I've stopped reading the comic a long time ago, but it's nice to see that those guys are still at work on the franchise.

Never heard of it as a game but it was a flash animation for a while it was so good they turned it into a dvd and hired good voice over actors, in canada only (I do own it). The dvd's are now coming out in the usa and the trailer should be online. just google it I'm sure it's the first hit. (sorry for any typo's I just work up and it is way to early)

Don't get your hopes up too much. Brooke showed a trailer of a game a couple years ago when the Flash series ended (around the same time he began the descent into sellout-hood) which turned out to be prerendered footage and there was no game in at that time, basically just another attempt to try and get someone interested in investing in it. Now that he's got a distribution deal with Fox and was supposedly talking to someone (maybe at WB) about a live action version, he's probably figuring he has enough clout to try and drum up some investment dollars again.

And anyways, don't get your hopes up about it too much. BS was groundbreaking for the web early on, but by the last half to third of the series, the story becomes profoundly disappointing.

Their website does say demo coming soon though...

They said a demo was coming shortly then, possibly packaged with a Duke Nuke'em Forever demo. ~_^ (I'm not saying it won't come, just saying it's been heard before.)

Also, strange note: Burgess is a proclaimed huge Nintendo fan (how can we forget his infamous Revolution "I know what the Rev secrets are" posts?) and the gameplay shots look very DS and/or Wii style, yet Gnosis Games says they're developing projects for PSP, PC and Xbox 360 on their home page. I can only assume they're talking about the BS game since it seems to be the only thing they're working on (or ever have for that matter.)

looks like a psp or ps3 game to me. They show a shot where there are clearly the circle square x and triangle buttons, toward the end at two minutes and eleven seconds. Don't think its a Wii game at all.

I love Broken Saints. I don't care if this game sucks. I will own it.
