One thing to keep in mind is that while the political rig-marole of CEA's wording sounds unpromising, they may have a chance to create their own E3.

It is very possible that if they bring about a public video game entertainment show and say they are focused on the little guy, but leave an invitation open to the big guys as well, the top guns may not feel that they can turn the opportunity down.

All it would take is one year of a CEA show that faired very well and forced the giants of the industry to attend simply for advertising new products to the public and marketing campaigns, and we very well may have a traditional public E3 under the guise of a new banner.

I agree with the first post. Hahahahaha funny. The only reason they stopped E3 is becasue they don't want to see Nintendo put everyone else to shame again. It's real sad when the ps3 was going to be the big hit of E3 and falls short. Everyone is pisses at Nintendo for taking all these awards at E3. Some would say Sony should have got them. It's hard to be top dog at E3 though when your pal Nintendo has lines that people are WILLING to wait in for up 4 hours. Maybe next time Sony can come with a real show for us and then E3 can be back agin huh? I doubt it but it's nice to dream.

The Consumer Electronics Association believes that tradeshows are the most viable means for reaching a market as they serve smaller companies and entrepreneurs who need access to media, buyers and investors.
