I don't live that close to a Wal-Mart and some of the games at the online store have 97 cent shipping fees, so it's probably more convenient to just order them there. Thanks for the tip.

Ha! John Stewart rules. Makes it hard to give Wal-Mart biz when you see what a tool their CEO is.

I sure wish I could find Beyond Good and Evil (Gamecube version) at a reasonable price. I even have a buddy at Ubisoft Montreal and even he can't get a copy from their employees-only discount store (Or whatever it is).

Cool. You know, Toys R Us also had a great clearance about two weeks ago (they might have a few stragglers left depending). I managed to score Pysconaughts (Xbox) for 15, and Taiko Drum Master for $20. Also worth mentioning was Killer 7 (Cube) for 10, Baten Kaitos (10) and Ninja Gaiden Black (15).

Just FYI, Wal-Mart clearances are very YMMV (your mileage may vary). Granted, a $20 game that hasn't struck Hits status yet is likely to be $20 at any other Wal-Mart with a gaming bargain bin, but anything below that is almost guaranteed not to be that price at any other Wal-Mart. About a year and a half ago, in my hometown of Hohenwald, TN, Donkey Konga with bongos was on sale for $15 - I found it fascinating, so I reported it on the CheapAssGamer forums. Turned out this wasn't going on anywhere else in the U.S. that anyone knew of. A similar sale in a nearby town did pop up a year later (Donkey Konga, $10, Savannah, TN) - but you get my point, likely.

Any word on Beyond Good & Evil for Xbox? If I recall it has support for Dolby Digital whereas the PS2 version has support for Pro Logic II only, and I dig the controls a bit better. It's hard as hell to find a copy though, although I could probably just scour eBay. It's pretty much the last Xbox game I have left to buy... that and Ninja Gaiden Black maybe. But that game would kick my ass.

Yeah. There's an new easy mode on Black, but I'd feel like a complete pussy for using it.

While visiting Mobile, Alabama, I came across a copy of Brain Age and an Xbox 360 faceplate for $2 each at Wal-Mart. The faceplate was tawdry silver, but hell; I'd buy anything for two bucks.
