#2 : They're also working on Supreme Commander right now which looks fantastic. I think they should never have rehashed Dungeon Siege like they have though. The original was good but did not deserve 3 new releases in the series.

The first Dungeon Siege was a remarkably fun game, especially due to the easily made mods and total-conversions. These mods are what kept the game going long after it should have collapsed, and even without the mods, the game was fun on its own.

Unfortnately for GPG, things began to go downhill with the release of Dungeon Siege: The Legends of Aranna - the expansions pack for DS1. It screwed up mods, and wasn't a nice game on its own.

GPG made the same mistake again with DS2, only they made things worse. It was hard to make mods, and the game sucked on its own. Broken World was the final nail in the coffin. This is just one example of a game maker digging its own grave.
