HoP-- That comic pretty much sums up the way I play this game. LOL I Love this game.

The numbers better shift wildly or I'll think this poll is fixed. That HOP comic was the unfunniest one in the whole lot.

The Jessica angle is perfect. If I could actually play the game, I figure that would be how I would go about it.

The Shaun of the Dead cameo comic is second for me, mostly because I love that movie and totally intend on throwing CD's (since there doesn't seem to be vinyl records) at zombies when I get Dead Rising.

At least the multiple PA and CAD comics will keep people from the just winning because they're PA or CAD.

weapons angle wins for three reasons: salad fingers in first panel, using a hippo as a weapon, and the "force push" joke.

Cad will clearly win when you tally the total votes per comic, in wedensday's I thought the timing and emotion was pure comic genius. Second I give to console wars and thirdly cad's friday one.
Hooked was good but to me lacked any punch.
And Penny Arcade's were their weakest in a long long time...

"And Penny Arcade's were their weakest in a long long time..."

But it has Frank.

Seriously though, Dead Rising is a good game but this is ridiculous. There are only so many different ways to do the same joke.

2 Things.

1. CAD is the worst popular webcomic out there.

2. None of those were funny. Am I a jaded gamer who has grown fatigued of webcomic humor? Yes, yes I am.

Guess I beat everyone to the punch :x I did my dead rising thing last week :P

I think this is what you get when a game seems so innovative and fun, people talk about it, A LOT.

It's free publicity and it's well earned.

I really liked the CAD ones ^^

Dead Rising sounds like a cool game, and I will buy it when I get a 360, but... It's a sad, sad day in the gaming industry when killing zombies in a mall is innovative.

I didn't really like any of these. This is a much better comic: http://www.sorethumbsonline.com/d/20060811.html

The first Penny Arcade comic was awesome. I don't know about you guys, but I thought the akward Alanis Morisette reference was even funnier than the last panel.

It's a shame more people don't recognize comic gold like I do :D.

Consolewars was funny. Even though you can indeed shoot people in the game it's still funny. I accidently voted for another webcomic though. Meh, not like one vote matters, right?

Who is Frank from the Penny Arcade strips? A recurring character or a pop culture reference i'm not getting?

It's a combination between the 2nd and 3rd CAD comics for me. After reading one then the other in order I already knew what I was going to vote for...

Come on! Penny Arcade was the funniest thing ever. Calling them communists is just too funny to pass up on.
And the next one....
How can you not like that s*** when they have the line "It's like ray-hee-aiin on your wedding day." while Tycho is throwing his cellphone at some zombie.

HoP was the one that got me laughing the most. I'm a PA fan through and through but theirs was weak to me. Guess I had to be a videogame salesclerk some time in my life to truly appreciate the PA ones. :-/
