A Sony UK rep has informed GamesIndustry.biz that despite rumors of a planned PSP price cut, nothing like that is in the plans. Of course, the site fails to name the rep or give further details, so we'll still have to keep our eyes and ears peeled to the possible news of a cost reduction.This news comes in contrast to information from CNN's Chris Morris who had an industry analyst tell us that a $149 PSP would be coming this holiday season. It seems like a price cut would be the smartest move to sell a ton of units, so we're still betting on a cheaper PSP coming our way soon. Would a drop in price encourage you to pick up a PSP?
