As I said on Joystiq: of course this kid's not going to like RocoLoco. She's way too young to smoke weed.

Don't do drugs kids.

The game did indeed suck. I can't see how people can play it for more than 30 minutes.

This game belongs on DS with all the other quirky Japanese titles.

PSP is for EA Sports (was...), and racing...and a Monster Truck and wrestling game for good measure.

Andrew, if it weren't for you (and you alone), PSP Fanboy would still probably be in a downward slump in hits because that same Joystiq bias was showing through in many of the blog/news entries here. I don't really want to argue this every other blog because even *I* get bored of the endless '_vs._'/bickering, but since you brought it up in sarcastic fashion, I felt it needed to be reiterated.

EN/JQ is strongly anti-PSP and Sony. Even the good bits get a strongly negative slant along with several sarcastic jabs thrown in by bloggers, ergo each Sony-related entry precipitates endless hilarity from the ever-outspoken Nintendo fan contingent.

The notion that some folks in the Weblogs/Engadget network are more than a little Sony-unfriendly didn't start with me, and I'm hardly the only one pointing this out.

That said, I still want to say THANK YOU again for all your excellent coverage of the PSP here in recent weeks/months.

I remember about a year ago when everyone in the media was Anti DS...that was some stupid speculation. This Sony/PSP hate has a little more substance to it. Sony is floundering hardcore.

"This game belongs on DS"

The DS does not have the processing power to render such a game, it being vector artwork and all.

The PSP has as many good titles as the DS, if not more.

THATS FREAKIN HILARIOUS!!! that girl doesnt know what shes crying about. loco roco is a really fun addicting game thats appealing to most ages for the "cute" properties it poseses, and you really shouldnt be allowed to write a review for a game if you cant finish the game.....

I agree with you Gonzo ;)

Matt. One minute people say "There are no original games for PSP" then when they start coming comments like your "This game belongs on DS" appear. Whats wrong? Jealous? If it was made for DS then I feel sorry for your poor palms with all that double tapping on the shoulder buttons. OOOOOOOO... thats gonna tear your hands off.

BTW, are you gonna say the same for Every Extended Extra when it comes out too? Go and train your brain or something.

Iella,

I guess you didn't play much more than 30 mins then to pass that comment. Poor you.

My little 5 year old Neice thinks Loco Roco is really funny. She can even control it which baffles me! But I don't see all the blogs on the earth talking about her experience. Oh yeah, sorry, thats POSITIVE news... I forgot its not trendy (And i'm not an employee of Microsoft).

Actually, I could care less. I can play every extend homebrew on gba / ds for free.

And loco roco is too kiddy for my tastes, hence why it should on DS with tomagotchi and pokemon.

Im surprised at the comments in this section.

Its one person’s opinion and some of you go on to say she is retard and what not.

Be constructive, if you like the game the more power to you. There will always be someone out there who likes or dislikes and will not agree with others.

Flaming her and this post just shows your level of maturity, which goes hand in hand with fanboyism.

If you love Sony and think there the best then buy there products and the will keep it up.

If you absolutely hate Nintendo and Xbox then you are not a true gamer.

With all the hype for the game I thought I would give it a try. I played it for a while (30min) and it is kinda lame and did not live up to the hype for me anyway. What I find really funny was the first comment in the article by Edward. "just because some people are too shallow to look past certain things like music or graphics doesn't mean it's "for" any certain age range". Aren't graphics and music about 80% of a game? If you look past them there isn't much left to review. I also agree it should have been on the DS right beside that brain training game. It's kinda like running an Atari 2600 game on a 3ghz PC just a waist of resources.

Matt (And the rest of the American community) Its "I couldN'T care less", I could NOT care less, as in I could not care any less than I do now, this is the lowest I can possibly care. If you COULD care less that means you care, but you have the facility to possibly care less than you do right now. i.e. you are infact caring.

Sorry, thats been bugging me for a while as more and more folks (American I think) are saying it and its really poor English.

Teacher head off

Why shouldn't "kiddy" style games be on the PSP? Anyway, this is in no way a kiddy game, it can be played by kids, but adults will get more out of it. Its like watching a Kids TV programme full of innuendo. You know them ones where your kids can watch and be completely oblivious to the comments being made, and you have to try and bite your lip for laughing. Try watching a few episodes of "Rainbow".

And yeah, by all means go and play every extended on homebrew. I can play the WHOLE library of NES, SNES and GB games if I wish for free. So thats like me saying "I don't need New Super Mario Brothers on PSP because I can play SNES emulation of Super Mario World" Whats your point there? That playing New Super Mario Brothers is pointless? Ahhhh, ok, I agree ;)

Lombax. Have you played Vib Ribbon before? If so, do you think that should have been released on the PS1? or maybe it was more suited to the Vectrex. Variety is the spice of life. Again, PSP is criticised for not having variet, then when it gets variety it gets criticised because it shouldn't have it.

Dear dear me.
