No one child is representative of all children. My neice went insane for the demo and for two months now never fails to ask when the game will be out in the US.

Page, I don't know what it is about Loco Roco you think is so processing intensive. The game could easily have been done well on the PS1 or Saturn. Heck, looking back at some games on the SNES and their application of Mode 7, Loco Roco could be well executed on that platform. It would look different but the gameplay would be solid.

An example of an SNES game that was based on the same tilting the world dynamic is Cameltry/On the Ball (US). Originally a Taito arcade machine.

An updated version has been released in Japan for the DS.

I'm fond of Loco Roco and intend to own it someday but it isn't a demonstration of the PSP's power over other handhelds. If it were published by a third party rather than Sony a DS version would almost certainly be out or in the works.

HAHAHAHAHA!!

Try playing Loco Roco between puffs of wakky bakky... Just be careful you don't drop the PSP.

Perfect for the DS? I think your palms would hurt after 5 minutes having to press the shoulder buttons so often. Shut up and play all your vast catalogue of games.

This is a class game and I don't even want to argue why. If you don't like it (Including that ONE Microsoft employee daughter) then miss out. I don't like NSMB but that doesnt make it a bad game.

Its quite sad that there has been ZERO hype for Loco Roco here just mere oddities like this post. The point? Revenue. Joystiq only have to mention Sony in any slightly bad light and they get over 100 replies. I've added to your pay packet guys! Aren't I nice.

Lavleeee!!

Wow, and to think I wanted to get a PSP just for this game. I'm definitely not gonna get it now!

...

I'm joking btw.

When the PSP lowers in price I'll probably get it and pick this game up. It looks like it will be one of those underappreciated games and I like taking a risk on sleeper hits. For example, Beyond Good and Evil, terrific game! However, sometimes you get burned. I HATED Chibi Robo and Battalion Wars! Chibi Robo just scared the hell out of me and Battalion Wars was just a horrible idea all around. A wannabe RTS in 3rd person perspective. Yuck.

I think I've wondered off topic a bit. Oh well.

Despite the kid I still wanna play this wacky game!

Wait... No-one has said that you have to be loco to love loco roco. I mean is it a demo or a game? Somehow "butter spread thin over too much bread" comes to mind.

"42. "If this came out on the DS"

Again, the DS doesn't have the processing power to render it.

...and the PSP doesn't have the processing power to render a good review. or sales.

"...and the PSP doesn't have the processing power to render a good review. or sales."

actually, the PSP has more games that get good reviews than the DS( they are both good though)

but, because I dont want you to blow a fuse...

*stereotypical PSP joke that would have been true when the PSP launched*
