Typically, the XBox marketplace charges you first, then starts the download, so you should be covered as long as you click the "Free purchase" button before the 48 hours expires.

Blatant procrastinators should be safe.

i will be waiting at 1:00am next wednesday to download this game so i can save $10 and enjoy some poker

That is pretty great. I am not a big card game fan but hopefully this will make me one. Like DeadPlasmaCell says you can't beat free. Here's hoping that

A.) It doesn't suck
and
B.) They are planing on releasing more free games.

I suppose there will be some premium features for users who paid for the game. Because if not they will leave the game

Yeah, you aquire that item with your first click, and you own it from that point on. You can then actually download it at your leisure.

Yeah, I wish you could gamble MS points too, but it will never happen. And if it did there would be so many people cheating. Your best bet is just go to the casino, and play in real life. I tried poker on the internet and I see that there are several programs that can enable cheating, I don't trust it.
