New D&D Tactics video shows gameplay

Watching gameplay footage of a turn-based strategy game might seem awfully boring to the average person, but it's just the thing that gets my blood pumping. I've always been a fan of Dungeons and Dragons, so it's nice to see Dungeons & Dragons: Tactics come to the PSP. I especially appreciate developer Kuju Entertainment's decision to take the game into the turn-based strategy genre instead of being just another dungeon crawler.
Dungeons and Dragons: Tactics sports the 3.5 rule set and includes real-time lighting and shadows. That's a good things since the dwarves' and halflings' ability to see in dark and low-light environments will play a big part for those gamers who have a love for the vertically challenged.
The game will also feature more than 200 unique spells, 650 items and should last gamer's more than 100 hours of gameplay. And just when things seem like they can't get any better, the game features a six-player co-op story mode, complete with one person being the dungeon master and will enable players to swap characters via Wi-Fi. Look for Dungeons & Dragons: Tactics to hit the PSP later this year.
