Sega, everyone's favorite third-party developer/publisher who gets massive love despite continually screwing us all over, has struck a deal with Planet Moon to bring one of its classic franchises to the PSP. What franchise, however, remains a mystery.Planet Moon has recently developed Infected on the PSP and Armed and Dangerous on the Xbox. Sega has already announced a deal with Totally Games to develop another classic franchise, but which game is also unknown.
"With an incredible archive of established franchises, Sega is always seeking strategic partnerships with top development talent to revitalize our vintage titles," said Scott A. Steinberg, Vice President of Marketing, Sega of America, Inc. "Planet Moon's reputation of creating critically acclaimed games makes them the perfect choice to inject originality and ingenuity to our classic IPs."
There are so many great Sega franchises that guessing the IP is pretty unlikely. Sega's already developing a new version of Golden Axe, but I'd personally love to a PSP version of Phantasy Star Online or Shining Force. Which franchise would you fellas like to see?
