Untold Legends: Dark Kingdom previewed

Untold Legends: Dark Kingdom previewedGame Informer was recently treated to a firsthand preview of Untold Legends: Dark Kingdom, the PlayStation 3's hack and slash substitute for a next-gen Champions of Norrath. It would seem Champions builder Snowblind has been preoccupied with JLA hotties Wonder Woman and Zatanna for the past year, but hopefully, Sony still has plans to give its console community some next-gen Firiona Vie love.

Regarding Dark Kingdom, I'm not terribly excited about the projected 18-20 hours of gameplay (didn't SOE read the Seven Sorrows reviews?), and the visuals are lacking a certain $600 console polish. Dark Kingdom's trailer boasts of "brilliant next-gen HD graphics", but right now, the game doesn't look that much prettier than its PSP brethren.

And lest you think Sony forgot about that whole downloadable content gimmick, gamers with money to burn will be able to purchase a fourth character class, as well as additional maps and stages. Dark Money Pit Kingdom is scheduled to be a PS3 launch title in November. Norrath, we hardly knew ye.
