Ninjas, pirates, robots, and zombies (oh my!)
We're in love with a game concept. Winner of GameDev.net's
Four Elements IV contest,
Ninja Loves Pirate is a game with -- you guessed -- ninjas and pirates fighting zombies and robots (hence, four elements). While the Joystiq staff is split on whether or not such an amalgamation is a good thing, the art style is reminiscent of the
uber cool
Curse of Monkey Island, and it's a side-scrolling romp ... what's not to love?
A demo is available from the
Ninja Loves Pirate website, although you might've played it awhile back if you follow GameDev.net's contests. A full version of the game is currently in development at Sweden-based Muskedunder Interactive.
