Alright, another week of nothing much.
I hate the summer.

Is "Freedom Wings" supposed to be any good?
James @ Aug 21st 2006 11:53AM
Any game publisher is stupid to release a game the same day as Madden. As maligned as the game may be, it sells like hotcakes.

I don't know what people are talking about when they speak of a 'sumer drought'. It feels more to me like a landslide aimed at emptying my wallet. Dead Rising a couple weeks ago, Dirge of Cerberus and 99 Nights last week, nothing this week, but that's just so I can keep holding my breath for Xenosaga 3 and Disgaea 2 next week...

Fuzz, I bought Freedom Wings and I'm enjoying it thoroughly. It took some getting used to while flying in manual mode, but once I got the hang of the controls, it's been good times. I'm guessing this game is what Top Gun should have been on the DS, though I've never played that particular game.
I'm rather liking the RPG elements of this game. It really makes it. The game requires a lot of patience at first, but once you get into it, you realize that it's a fairly well balanced game with some minor flaws.
Could use a more fleshed-out story, but I'm not complaining at $15.00 (after my coupon). :)
