Small Arms, that's one mean lookin' chicken

Granted, you don't want to come across an angry chicken, but you really don't want to come across an angry chicken rocking an arm mounted cannon, a Molotov cocktail and a championship belt. Sweet jebus, this thing is the stuff of nightmares. This badass chicken (Pector El Pollo) is a newly revealed character for Gastronaut's upcoming Arcade title, Small Arms. Check out the other new character, a hitman pig (hitpig?) named Mr. Truffles, at K1lla's Xbox Domain. And if you're as excited about Small Arms as we are, stay tuned to X360F. It's not going to be a release date, is it? If it is, don't hype yourself up lest you get caught in the same firestorm Epic did. ;>

This has to be the one XBL arcade game I am most looking foward to. From what I hear it has some pretty cool ways to get achievements too.

What are you guys talking about? I would love for the announcement to be a release date, this is the game that I am most looking forward to, screw all the over-hyped "retro" classics!

Yeah, same here. I'm also quite looking forward to Castle Crashers.

Not to slam all retro games, I am looking forward to Sonic, Symphony of the Night and Contra, But the chicken has A FREAKIN' FLAME-THROWER WITH A BAYONET ON IT!!! AND FOR GOOD MEASURE IS HOLDING A MOLITAV COCKTAIL!! I mean, Damn!

I'm hoping this game rocks. The is my most anticipated XBLA title since the 360 release.

I can't say I care for the character design, but the gameplay looks fantastic!

It is BLATANTLY obvious that the arm mounted cannon, and the molotov cocktail are inspired by both Barrett and Dyne from Final Fantasy 7...especially Dyne, who had his arm replaced with a gun, and used the Molotov Cocktail as one of his finishing moves

Uhuh, because no other game character has used an arm mounted cannon before. Nope, never seen that before. :)

At the end of the barrel there is a small ignition flame lighter, do you see it? That is to ignite the fuel or accelerant the weapon pumps out to produce the pillar of fire. Even the edges looked somewhat charred, as it would be with constant exposure to flames. IT IS CLEARLY A FLAME THROWER (ala aliens etc.), NOT A CANNON!

I guess he'll always have something to light his Molotov's then...

So we can all agree that Pector is the most kick ass chicken ever right?
