Alone in the Dark pics, unbelievably scary

I think that these pictures are still in the uncanny valley (upper reaches). The grahpics are stunning yet you know that is not a real person in an instant. Why is that?

Is it the unrealistic muscle contortions that give it away or the not-quite-there skin texture?

I can't believe people still get wet over glossy still pictures. 'Who wants this game based off cinematic cutscene pictures that show no actual sign of quality or gameplay?' 'ME ME ME'. Zzz.

Jeez, i'm surprised how seriously everyone took that comment, sorry, but i thought i'd made it obvious i wasn't being serious and wasn't genuinely asking for recognition. Hence the wink smiley, bah, it doesn't really matter.
