Were the bean bags used to pummel the nubcake or somehow retrieve the lost ball? The article seems a bit unclear as to the well-being of said nubcake.

once the beanbag was brought in, the game was stoped. Probably because it was dropped from about 4 floors up and the reason this was going on was because nothing else was going on at this time and this was right after the keynote where there were about 5 balls being hit all across the room along with about 100 ping pong balls being thrown

Thank gawd for the blue ball, because it was a really long wait to get into the PA Q&A.

Some interesting convention highlights from Friday:

- The chant "All Hail Ball" was my favorite part of the ball game.

- The number of DSs. EVERYBODY has one. Not very many PSP's.

- During the Q&A, the writer guy from PA recommended the Wii60 as the system to buy next generation.

- Also, the crowd in the Q&A booed when the PS3 price was mentioned. It doesn't seem like many here wanted a PS3, and if this crowd doesn't want one, who will? I think Sony is in trouble.

Uuuuh... a convention based around a web comic strip that isn't even that good to begin with? Am I the only one who finds this a little weird?

You and the rest of the people living under that rock, I'd imagine.

do the PA guys have pictures of you playing golf with satan? naked? doing all kinds of illegal activities? seriously give it a break, please... the webcomic wrapup is bad enough. every other article is getting ridiculous.

I have to say, I got back from the Expo a few hours ago, and that spontaneous outbreak of "All hail the ball!" as the ball was bounced around was one of the best moments I had there. It lasted for around 20 minutes (The ball bouncing), and was amazing to see the fun people could get simply from bouncing a ball. The ball has now officially become a cult icon. Look for future references...

Well, here's what happened to the ball. Took this pic from the 4th floor of the Meydenbauer late Sunday afternoon.

Between this and all the off color puns revolving around the Bawls drink being so prevelent, I was about balled out.
