SFII is lame, Fatal Fury hits Live Arcade

All I have to say is I hope they don't fuck up Fatal Fury because unlike Street Fighter (a Campcom game) SNK games have rabid followers, me being one of them.

Please God! I hope they get this right. I remember the days of having my ass handed to me by Wolfgang...Happy Days.
Now all we need is a NeoGeo joystick for the 360 and all will be right with the world.

Yay, I get to spend my $400 playing games that came out over a decade ago.. (and poorly at that).. Please oh please can't this retro thing die, it had a great run but go get yourself a copy of MAME and give me original IP's for the XBLA.. I'll be passing on this one..

What a weird choice. Why didn't they go with King of Fighters?

@razer... I know this is just a nutty idea... but if you don't want to play retro games on your xbox 360, perhaps you shouldn't buy them. Don't be offended by the fact that some of us enjoy the thought of playing classics online and having global scoreboards.

@Erik Novak - It's not a weird choice at all, if there were no Fatal Fury, there would be no KoF, and many of the old-school (SFII era) fans are bigger fans of FF than KoF ;)

That being said, I prefer KoF myself, but I'll happily take any SNK goodness.

well... I'm glad snk is getting into the whole XBLA thing... but I really wish capcom and snk would port more updated versions of their games.

I mean... why SFII? Sure it takes more work, but wouldn't Alpha, or SFIII been a more logical choice?

Now I wonder if ARC will get Guilty Gear into the mix.

They should release Garou: Mark Of The Wolves on XBL. It is one of my favourite 2D fighters, and perhaps the only Fatal Fury game I ever liked. The animation was awesome, and the game was very very well balanced.
