DOAX2 and the importance of sunscreen

lol if they'd make this game ultra real instaed of anime stylized this game would be soooooo hot ... and probably not sold anywhere lol :)

In case you were wondering, you can use sunblock to prevent the tan lines, or suntan lotion to make them happen faster.

I personally just want to try the game for the Waverace 64-style gameplay.

I like that. It reminds me of when the Metal Gear Solid 2 crew was so proud of their melting ice cubes if you knocked over the stuff on the bar and waited around long enough.

Yea this title would not be next-gen if they did not have melitng ice cubes. I can see that as the next amazing feature in the game, and after that, there will be some paint drying technology.... Where you can actually watch paint dry.

Its just simply amazing what they can do with next-gen.. (Sarcasim).

Melting ice-cubes, tan-lines, etc. may not be major gameplay innovations, but it's the little touches that make a game world feel complete. Now perhaps you're quick-triggered and heavy-handed when it comes to games, in which case you wouldn't notice such things. But for many gamers (myself included) when you get tired of the killing and stop to smell the flowers (or tranq the seagulls) as it were, it's a delight when something actually happens, when the designers actually take the time to account for what happens when you shoot at the scenery, tip over a glass full of ice cubes, or neglect the sunscreen. Obviously none of these things affect the outcome of the game in any way shape or form; but it does directly affect our pleasure in a game. At least, those of us who stop to enjoy the sights the designers have created for us.

We really do need a raunchy adult version of this game.

You know I happen to play some shooter games, but its not all I like. I mean I will buy Viva Pinata just cause its something totally different. But I mean I personally I just find it strange to have a game where you are at the beach..

Novel idea, how about going to the beach and getting out a little more. I guess this game would be better if it sold in the winter. Although I do live in San Diego, so I guess there is not so much of a draw for me as it would be for some other poeple.
I mean I could argue that playing football on the console is alright, especially if you dont want to injure yourself. But with DOAX2, I am sure many guys will be pulling a muscle. :P
