First look at Halo Movie Warthog?
9
Tipster Doug explains the provenace of a video that might be the first glimpse of a Halo movie Warthog (Feel free to blink -- it's not an action shot):
My friend in Wellington was on a guided tour, while driving past a WETA owned backlot she spotted a giant car being put through its paces. She recognised the front of the car and its size as the warthog from the Halo video games. She took one sneaky picture when it parked and emailed me it immediately knowing my interest in halo.
I excitedly posted it on the Bungie.net forums and within an hour it had been removed, and in my inbox was a message from a moderator telling me I would be blacklisted for posting any kind of leaked pictures. Which leads me to believe its authenticity.
Banned by Bungie or not, it looks kinda factory for a Warthog. Take it for what it's worth.

They said it was being run through testing, which means we can assume this is definitely not the final condition it will be in, and some parts may simply be temps or place holders until they can find suitable fits for the vehicle.
In anycase, it's not really anything to blow a juicy fanboy load over, but I'm sure there will be some people who do.

Bungie bans anyone from the forums for claiming to have leaked stuff whether its true or not.
Thats not to say this isn't real, its just that him getting blacklisted has nothing to do with if this is real or not.

Steering appears to be on the right side of the vehicle... Is the Master Chief taking a trip to the UK?

I think it would be cool if they used a few of these:

This thing kicks ass! two 5.7 liter hemi engines give it more than 600hp and about 740 ft-lbs of torque. and if thats not enough, it even looks like the warthog

What is the point of the video when every frame of the video is the same thing?

haha, thanks Jordan... I was thinking exactly the same thing.
Why not just post this as a .jpg?

that's just a flat back used for filming, camera man sits on the back, that's why it has no bodywork, so there's less to be accidently caught in shot
