We saw this picture and just felt compelled to share it with you, the gaming public. Apparently snagged from a recent photo shoot for a new magazine coming out called Geek Weekly, we see our favorite tech variety show host Kevin Pereira in a rather sexually confusing pose with fellow gaming hottie Jessica Chobot from IGN.

It's always good to see others in the game industry not take themselves too seriously and be willing to have a little fun in the name of all that is geek. You may catch some heat for that picture Kevin, but we got ya back.

No, we really don't have his back. He embodies all of the reasons why the gaming press sucks. And while we're at it, forget Chobot as well. She licks a damn PSP and becomes a gaming celebrity. Just pathetic.

Is it sarcasm that you like Kevin P? I would think so since I thought everyone hated him. I know people, including me, who stopped watching G4 altogether because of him. Too bad since when Kevin Rose was there the show actually meant something. The girl is pretty, but I do hope you're kidding about him being your "favorite tech variety show host"

He touched Chobot's but. More power to him. Its like he completed a bonus side mission he never knew about, but he'll always remember.

Is the point of this magazine to subtley mock the geeks that read it? Geeks are stereotyped as socially inept. The poses, facial expressions, and setting could not be more incompatible. It's like a stereotyped inept geek tried to make a hot photoshoot and failed beyond any reasonable measure.

Also, aparently nobody at Geek Weekly is geeky enough to know that both of their models are huge lamers.

PS I realize this article was probably posted just to invite flaming fun, and I don't care. I walk right into your maturity-based trap because the photo makes me cry.

Faith Naked annoys me. Way too much reference to the fact that she's a female gamer. If female gamers would just shut up about the fact that they're female, they'd be treated normally. End of story.

Bah.. I started to stop watching G4 when they started showing other BS, not really related to Gaming..

And then Kevin Rose left.. That was the final nail.. Havent watched since..

TechTV and G4 have always been a joke for a cable channel. Only idiots with limited or no formal background with Microsoft Word enoys it.

I enjoyed TechTV. Some aspects from G4 I don't mind, but overall, I wish they left TechTV alone =(

I suppose I'll never understand how the lot of you can spew such vitrol towards an individual simply because of the network they work for. I don't think I'd very much like to know either.

You'd think that some of you had personally been wronged by G4 sometimes. I don't like the network very much either (and that's even WITH the Arrested Development coup), but take it easy.

Kevin Pereira is/was awesome. Don't blame him for the piece of shit Attack of the Show has turned into.

what's funny is he is mocking those girl jeans wearing emo kids. i like kevin p. some stuff he does is funny the thing about k-fed was atleast, some office jesus is funny, trying too hard at times, but funny. no kevin rose though, god i miss him and tech tv and leo leporte, can't we have aots and put it on tech tv and just get rid of that manshow shit and brainiac.

I only watch Attack of the Show for two reasons: Blair Butler's "Fresh Ink" and Chris Gore's "DVDuesday" segments. I Tivo only the Tues and Thurs episodes of AotS, and skip through everything entirely to watch these segments.

If anybody from G4 is reading this, I have some serious money-saving advice for you guys: Cancel AotS now. Then start a new one- or two-hour live weekly show that features Blair and Chris as the hosts. They can talk about comic books, movies, geek-favorite TV shows, the latest DVD releases, interview stars/actors from sci-fi/genre shows, have a live band perform, talk about the latest in geek/tech gadgets (retain Will O'Neal for this). Also, have a live audience for this.

AotS as it is just does not work, generally speaking. Some of the segments are absolutely painful to sit through ("The Loop") or downright dreadful and icky ("In Your Pants") or kind of creepy ("MySpace Girl of the Week"). Blair and Chris are the only exceptions (along with Will). Period.

I love G4... I just wish they'd show more Star Trek. I do miss TechTV tho. TechTV when it was still in San Francisco, that is.

You know, I don't know what this has to do with gaming, Asside from the fact, the two people in the picture are suposidly gammers. Rule number whatever... Gamers never get a Tan!!!

This is slightly off topic, but am I the only person that can't stand Leo Leporte??? I listen to his TWiT podcast frequently, and it seems like ignorance just pours from his mouth without any sort of obstruction. He seems so clueless about all technology with the exception of the internet (and what he knows about that is probably just spill-over from his mastermind friend Kevin Rose). I'm just trying to see if there are others like me so I don't feel so alone in my disgust...

I think Kevin P. is a genuinely cool guy who is trying to do the best job with what's being handed to him by the G4 network bonehead executives. He's like an enthusiastic, funny and friendly cruise ship director... who's been assigned to the Titanic.

But many times, it feels like he's just in over his head now on AotS -- his moderating "The Loop" is one example.

Pereira's a douche, actually he's less than douche, he doesn't deserve to clean the filthiest, smelliest, nastiest of vaginas.(Can't think of something less than douche at the moment) I think my hate for him comes from everything good being sucked out of TechTV and him showing up on TSS shortly thereafter, for me he is the face that came with all the bad news. I also just can't watch him he's the kinda guy you can look at and go "I can't explain it, but for some reason I really want to punch that guy in the face."

AotS is definately not a "tech variety show". I can't believe people actually watch that crap.

Kevin Pereira is probably a good person for all I know. However, from the first time I saw him my impression was that he was a person who spoke quickly to the point of being nearly unintelligible, was too high strung, thrived on self referential humorand was ill at ease with himself.

Leo Laporte was essentially the opposite, a veritable Captain Kangaroo of technology and warm humor. The sour changing of the guard at G4 is embodied by the likes of Kevin Pereira.

I find it hilarious that some of you guys actually think everything that comes out of Kevin's mouth comes out of right his head. AOTS has writers. Very shitty writers, who write the beginning and ending lines of every segment. If he makes a lame joke, you can rest assured it isn't him doing it.

let me tell you a lovely story...

I'm British. I've never heard or seen G4. I produce a little game, they showcase it in Cinematech without even contacting me first. I send them a little email asking, requesting they link me to where I could download the episode, and they just ignore me.

My only experience of these guys is that they are shit. Is she that make-up clad girl who licked the PSP? all I remember from that was the horrible amounts of so-called beauty products on her face. I've no idea who he is. But why on earth is he grabbing her bum in a retro arcade in an overly contrasted photo? I think I'm missing the point here.

Why isn't he turned the other way?
