rofl, this is all too much. Please, waste more of your life arguing over toys. The long-winded posts from the second page are the most golden. To think some of these people have managed to take a step outside.

"@132. -->"All I have to say is thank God for PC gaming."

Yea...thank god for the same old RTS and FPS games that get rehashed over and over and over and over.

Oops! My hardware is obsolete b/c I can't get 60fps guess I need to spend another couple hundred again."

Your reply was depressing, because sometimes I expect more from you. After all, you've said you're in the game industry GSI. You do understand that PC gaming, despite its faults, is still frequently enjoyable and available.

Not all of us are trying to play Crysis though. This fall all I want is Neverwinter Nights 2. The first game truly illustrated what PC gaming is capable of that console gaming is not. Toolset integration and moddability. Take Oblivion for instance -- on the PC it is a much better experience than on the console sheerly because of the custom content community. The closest thing you can get to that on the consoles is if you pay hundreds of dollars to Microsoft to get into their XNA club.

Console gaming has just started getting software patches as well as hard drives that can be upgraded. It will not be too long before they just start turning into minature PC platforms that advertise all sorts of hardware upgrades as well.

@ Jecrell:

Yes I have said that...but I'm stating my personal opinion. I am allowed to have one ya know ;-)

What I would say for my personal opinion to a regular person or online is not what I would say to someone else in the industry that is higher up then me. I'd rather not burn bridges. ;-)
