Sure, Google tried its best, but the site still has a pretty rough translation. Even so, the gist is easy to see. After a few Nintendo conferences, Sega has announced it will hold its own conference in a little over a week to discuss plans for the rest of the year and 2007, on the surface. Discussions about the Sonic game headed to PS3 and XBox360 are inevitable, but this is exciting news for one reason: has Sega recouped enough funds to try again? Will they attempt another entrance into the console market in a few years? Will this grow into a 4-console market, with PS3 at the top (naturally, right?) or will it fall the way of the Dreamcast? All speculation, of course. It could be something so small as to announce Sonic in the new Super Smash Bros. Brawl game or some kind of partnership with another company. We'll wait and see, rub our hands together maniacally and pull out our copies of Skies of Arcadia, Soul Calibur, and whatever other memorable DC titles you own, then imagine them redefined on the Wii or the PS3. Which game from Sega's library would you like to see brought back? Vectorman would be pretty cool.
