How to make a GTA trailer

- Pop music contemporary to the game's era ...
(Foreigner -- "I want to know what love is") - Over-the-top voice acting spouting over-the-top dialogue ...
("When will you grow a brain?") - Montage of gun fights ...

- Multiple screens of the same video, reminiscent of Warhol or 80s music videos ...

It stars Lance Vance's brother? Neat-o.

Jack Thompson would rate this video:
Satan In A Box
That's right parents, so if you see the friendly ESRB rating sticker stating a game is SIAB, your child will love it... but he'll be going to hell!

I barely played Liberty City Stories and yet this still looks appealing. What is it with these games...
Agent MOO @ Sep 6th 2006 5:35PM
Sweet... When are they porting it to ps2, I want to play it.

GTA... Hell yeah, it's a formula... But it's a formula for FUN!
Ask yourself: Why change the recipe for chocolate cake?

Sorry Agent MOO, from what I'm hearing, there isn't going to be port this time. Then again, you'll never know if those suits will change their minds.

You change the recipe in a chocolate cake to make it better. Everything can be improved.

Horrible song choice for the trailer. It didn't fit at all.
Intangible 360 @ Sep 6th 2006 7:18PM
I completely agree cringer8, it made absolutely no sense in the context.

Dude the song was awesome.
Is Philip Michael Thomas doing the voice for the main character? I thought I heard his voice towards the end.

Clearly, Vic wants to know what love is... and we can further glean that he wants you to show him.

The song was a perfect choice *tear*

And yet again, ad nauseum, a positive newsbyte for the PSP is twisted into seeming lame and negative in the eyes of Joystiq 'non biased' bloggers.
Maybe if Joystiq continues their Bash-on-Sony crusade, they can single-handedly swing the outcome of the upcoming console war in Nintendo's favor! Wait, that's crazy -- nobody could be THAT arrogant...

I could not have liked Vice City more. Of all the Grand Theft Autos, I think Vice City was the pinnacle. It's going to be a blast to play in Vice City again.
You know how you sometimes associate a song with a specific memory, perhaps when the song was released, and the song from that point on takes on a depth that goes beyond music? Well, that's happened to me with Vice City.
It's as if I've almost actually been there. To visit it again would be an opportunity that I wouldn't or couldn't miss.

Didn't they tell everyone that there wasn't going to be a port for GTA:LCS??? They are saying the same thing, but when their 40 dollar baby stops selling, they will do what they did last time and throw it on the PS2 for guaranteed sales!!!!
