Woot! Can't wait. Next to Bomberman, and LocoRoco, I am very much looking forward to buying this.

Maybe they'll turn this wonderful franchise into a turn based card game, wouldn't that be great?

Good. Loco Roco and Ultimate Ghosts 'n Goblins has broken the "no good games" rut the PSP was in this year. I'm glad they're getting some more good games lined up so it hopefully won't happen again.

I don't think anybody can complain about the quality of games coming out for the PSP anymore. Metal Gear solid: Portable Ops, Silent Hill:Origins, and now the Devil May Cry series. PSP fans rejoice!!

YAY! Another game that will be dumbed down and less fun because of its controls. This will be about as fun as katamari with 1 analog stick. This is a game that uses every button on the controller. It really does need the 2 sticks unless they have some genius idea how to fix that. So far they have not wowed me with game controls on the PSP. I really dont like the direction DMC is headed right now......it is my favorite series and the current plans for this portable and for DMC 4 are casting a shadow of doubt within my soul. I just died a little inside methinks.

This is one game I will only play on a console, not any handhelds. This game requires use of every possible button on the controller, and I just don't think the PSP will do justice to this.

"the game will be in the "stylish action" genre of gameplay"

Read "exactly the same as DMC 1".

That being said, this is one port that gets me looking at the PSP again....I'm a sucker for anything in DMC/castlevania style....port or not.

Who ever said it would be a port? I don't think people understand the definition of a port anymore.

Horray this has only been rumored since the PSP's launch. I don't really want a port or new console game, I want an original PSP game made specifically for the handheld.

Why? The PSP is slowly dying. The PS2 will outlive it, why not give the PS2 another DMC instead?

Oh yeah, because it will be a cheap broken port for a cheap buck.

DMC is not coming to the PSP. The Japanese Capcom website was wrong.

"Oh yeah, because it will be a cheap broken port for a cheap buck."

Like Mario 64 DS, Rayman DS, Sims DS, Burnout DS, Goldeneye DS, Zoo Tycoon DS, Splinter Cell DS, Ridge Racer DS, etc?

"Why? The PSP is slowly dying."

In the eyes of the rose-colored-vision Nintendo fanboy, anything that isn't Ninty is 'dying' and the N64 and GCN dominated the last two generations. Even a casual observer looking at the PSP upcoming game roster and how well it's done against Nintendo's strongest market would see it's not going anywhere for a while.

But hey, it's all good. This is Sonyhatestiq and every blog is a big fat circle-jerk of Nintendo loving Sony bashers.

The funny thing is, I don't really care for Sony's business practices myself (I boycotted the PS2 for years and hated their API restrictions on the CLIE PDA) but the level of abject denial and antagonistic kneejerking over the PS3 and PSP by Nintendo crazies like you is just amazing to watch. It's like a clinical experiment in mob mentality.
